Put on the fire, in a bowl, the coconut milk with the sugar. Stir and keep on the heat until the sugar melts, then remove from the heat, add coconut, vanilla essence. Mix until you get a fairly thick composition (if necessary, you can add extra coconut). This composition is spread in a heat-resistant form or a smaller tray, leveled, covered with cling film and refrigerated until the next day.
Melt the chocolate with the liquid cream and leave it to cool very little.
From the coconut composition taken out of the fridge, cubes are formed with a knife or coconut balls can be formed, obviously manually. These cubes or coconut balls are drawn into the melted chocolate, then removed and left to "dry". After the chocolate has hardened on them, they can be decorated as you like.
Let me repeat how good they are ????
How to make fondant candies from plain walnut kernels or with cocoa, coffee, ness?
I finely ground the lightly fried and cooled walnut (125 g) and mixed it with 100 g of powdered milk, exactly as above, to avoid the formation of lumps.
Then I put fondant, salt and vanilla. Salt is very important to balance the sweet taste and to enhance the flavors.
I kneaded the composition for a few seconds on the kitchen table. Also, if necessary, it can be supplemented with powdered milk or fondant.
I divided this walnut filling into 3: that is, I left it simple in half and cut it in half in the other half. I put a teaspoon of instant coffee (ness) on one and a teaspoon of cocoa on the other.
I kneaded them well to homogenize the powders. Instant coffee should be ultra-fine to dissolve evenly. There are no problems with cocoa. Here are the 3 parts of walnut filling: the big one is simple and the small ones are with coffee (left) and cocoa (right). Taste them and top them with coffee or cocoa if you think it is appropriate. If they become too strong, add a little more fondant.
If you do not model fondant candies immediately then it is good to know that these compositions can be stored in the refrigerator for more than 10 days if they are well wrapped in plastic.
How to slice (how many grams) and how to shape homemade fondant candies?
It must be taken into account that these candies will be wrapped in a layer of fondant of about 2-3 mm so it would be good not to make it too big. Mine had approx. 3 cm in diameter after glazing so I portioned them at 12-13 g. Of course I used an electronic kitchen scale. I then shaped them into palms to give them a spherical shape.
How beautiful all 4 colors look: white (coconut), beige (simple walnut), brown (coffee) and dark brown cocoa. I did not use all the prepared compositions but I put some of them in the fridge.
I placed them on the baking paper tray and covered them with plastic wrap so they wouldn't dry out.

Coconut and chocolate candies, Raffaello type
I chose to prepare these candies as a saving solution in a time of great time crisis. The day before, I had prepared Plaisir des dames double quantity, with the intention of assembling a minimum of 40 horns, I needed so much, but the calculation from home does not match the one from the fair.
I also told you about the recipes Reinterpreted Biscuit Salami, Lemon Biscuits, Macarons, that almost doesn't matter the reason, but, periodically, my daughter pampers all her classmates with goodies (so they say) made by me.
Last week was such an occasion, but I didn't manage to model too many horns for the reasons I mentioned in the recipe. I stopped the horns for home and I chose, without much thought, to prepare some delicious candies according to a recipe retetepapabun.ro, so simple to make that even a child could prepare them. I knew they would be good because I had made more coconut candies, but with white chocolate and liquid cream, the version that is closer to the taste of Rafaello candies, of course they are finer, but I didn't find them flawed either.
It does not require heat processing, simply mix all the ingredients, knead a little and shape the candies. For variety and because I wanted to give them a festive air, I pulled half of them into milk chocolate and decorated them with white chocolate threads.
The impression was very good and I received congratulations because everyone liked it very much.
Have an understanding for the pictures, there was no time to take pictures, they left home early in the morning. Around 10 o'clock in the morning, I remembered to sigh and asked my daughter to take a picture of the box of assorted candies, with the phone, but there were only about 10 left.
Therefore, the only specimens left at home, not the best ones, I photographed the next day.
It's easier than that! Everything was ready in an hour and 15 minutes, packed in pairs, one white and one black, in muffin papers, stored in two cardboard boxes (food) with lid. They looked beautiful in the box, I was sorry I didn't take a picture of them. There were so many more at 10 o'clock in the morning when I asked my daughter to take pictures with her phone:
I prepared the double amount and the result was about 75 candies (2.5 cm) with almonds in the middle.
150 g instant powdered milk (not Raraul or from the one that requires boiling, quality matters)
125 g old powder
100 g soft butter
100 g coconut + 20 g for rolling the candies
1 tablespoon hot water
75 g almonds (or raisins, pistachios, walnuts, etc.)
90g good quality dark chocolate (otherwise they will not be shiny and smooth)
50g white chocolate
I took out the butter in the evening so that it would be at room temperature the next morning.
1. Mix all ingredients by hand. Knead well until it becomes a compact mass like a ball. Add 1 tablespoon of hot water to make them more sticky and so that the coconut sticks better when rolling. Break and form 2cm balls in which you stick an almond kernel and reshape the sphere around it.
2. Store on a plate, then roll 5-6 rolls in coconut and place on another clean plate. You let them cool to harden. I left half of them white.
3. I didn't roll the other half of the candy through the coconut. I hardened them in the freezer for 10 minutes. During this time I melted the chocolate in a bain marie (steam), I stuck a candy in a skewer, I dipped it in chocolate, I drained it and stored it on a grill suspended on a tray (they didn't have former losses).
4. When they were ready, I kept them in the freezer for 15 minutes to harden the icing, during which time I melted 1/2 white chocolate. When the icing hardened, I put the white ones in the freezer, instead, so that I wouldn't have any surprises during transport to soften them. I made a small cornet out of baking paper with a tiny 1-1.5 mm hole. I drew white spirals on the black icing of the candies. I put them in the freezer for about 7 minutes.
Ingredients for the wafer candy recipe
- -350 gr wafers with cocoa
- - 3 tablespoons nutella
- For decoration:
- -100 gr dark chocolate
- -30 gr butter
- -30gr hazelnuts
- Necessary ingredients for those given by coconut:
- -175 gr wafers with vanilla
- -130 gr condensed milk
- For decoration:
- -50 gr condensed milk
Coconut butter and cocoa butter harden in the jar in which they are stored, so in order to use them we must heat them.
We put the jars in a bowl with hot water, we can even put them in a bowl with water on low heat to become liquid faster. In a bowl we put coconut flakes (I used dry flakes but you can use freshly grated coconut, I think it would have a much stronger aroma). Pour the coconut butter and cocoa butter over and mix. Add the sweetener or sugar if you want a sweeter dessert.
Put the composition in a bowl that you have previously covered with cling film. The composition should be about 2-3 cm thick. We press it with the back of a spoon well and level it. Let it cool and wait for it to harden. When it is cold, make the chocolate icing: heat the chocolate together with the butter or milk over a low heat, in the microwave or in the bain marie and pour over the coconut. Cool, remove from the pan, cut and serve cold. Store in the refrigerator covered with cling film.

Happy Easter with all your loved ones!
Happy celebrations! I tried the recipe today, it turned out great! I modified it a bit, it's true because I didn't have enough coconut, I only put 80 g and I added 80 g of almonds. It was delicious, because already. was! I like your recipes because they are well explained and easy to make. Congratulations! While a recipe for drob, that Easter is over?
Thanks! Congratulations to you for the idea of almonds, too bad they are not as affordable as the breed of coconut (at the price I mean). I do not venture to advance once, but I will definitely put the drob on my list of future recipes.
I put almonds, because I had no more nuts. :-D As for the price, in Kaufland (I hope there will be no problems, I don't want to advertise) it costs 3 lei a bag of 80 grams, the flakes or quarters of almonds version - I used quarters.
It's no problem, sometimes we also do free advertising :) Especially since I think their price is pretty good.
