We wash the potatoes and boil them in cold salted water for about 10 minutes.
Drain the water and let the potatoes cool.
We peel them and then cut them into slices but without reaching the knife to the end of the potato. (I had read a great idea from Miha: to keep the potato in a spoon and so the knife will not cut the potato to the end).
Separately melt the butter and mix it with the finely chopped dill, salt and pepper.
Put the potatoes in an oven tray greased with oil. Pour melted butter over each potato.
Bake in the oven at 200 degrees until the potatoes are cooked.
From time to time we took a tablespoon of the butter from the pan and poured it over the potatoes.
