The recipe belongs to Motan, with small modifications, I added eggs in the dough and vanilla sugar, and in the filling 2 sachets of vanilla sugar, I like more flavorful: D, thanks for the recipe :)

  • It took:
  • 800 gr flour
  • 500 ml of warm water
  • 40 gr yeast
  • 5 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • salt
  • 2 sachets of vanilla sugar
  • Filling:
  • 600 gr telemea sheep cheese
  • 2 sachets of vanilla sugar
  • 3 tablespoons sour cream
  • 3 eggs
  • fried oil

Preparation time: less than 120 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Transylvanian cheese pies:

Dissolve the yeast in a bowl with warm water and a little sugar.

Put the flour in a bowl and make a hole in the middle. Put the yeast there, sprinkle with flour and leave to rise for about 5 minutes. Add the oil, salt, eggs and mix everything. Pour the water a little and vanilla sugar and knead until it becomes a non-sticky crust. Knead on the table sprinkled with flour for 10 minutes and put in a bowl covered with a clean towel for 1 hour.

Grate the cheese in a bowl and mix with sour cream, vanilla sugar and egg until smooth. Divide the dough into pieces like a tennis ball. Flatten on the table with flour in a round shape. Put the cheese in half, pull the other half over and seal on the edge with a fork so that the composition does not come out.

Leave it to rise for 15 minutes, then fry it in a pan in hot oil on both sides. When they are brown, take them out on an absorbent kitchen napkin. They are good hot.
