  • 40 pcs puff pastry rolls (I got it from Kaufland)
  • 1l milk
  • 200g butter
  • 200g old
  • 250g flour
  • 2 sachets of vanilla sugar
  • a vanilla pod
  • juice from half a lime

Servings: 20

Preparation time: less than 60 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Vanilla cream rolls:

  • For the vanilla cream, I boiled the milk with the sugar, the vanilla bean core and the flour.

  • I stirred continuously with a fork so that it did not become lumpy and I left it on the fire until it thickened.

  • I took the pot off the heat and added the butter, stirring until it melted.

  • I mixed half of the composition with lime juice.

  • I filled the rolls with hot cream, then let them cool and served them the next day.
